So I decided to get back to making videos; this one is something that's been on my heart for a while, and I hope you find it helpful. I'm hoping it, and the other videos I have planned, can be the beginning of a dialog.
I realize now that I left out one of my key inspirations for this talk: the word "genie" and the word "genius" come from the same root. Among other things, I think the lesson there is that being the brilliance that you are has nothing to do with memorization, or test scores, or intellect, or rationality, or even hard work. It everything to do with acting from your feelings. As I get older, I realize that the wishes my head makes are consistently inferior to the ones my heart makes. I guess Cinderella was right.
That is another story for another time, though.
